Book My Trip: Payment and Registration Process

OK, you’ve read all about the trips, checked out the pictures and now you ’re ready to experience your own Costa Rican adventure first-hand.

Step 1- Trip Registration Form
Begin your adventure by registering now. Each person booking a trip with Sol Encounter should complete and submit a registration form and waiver. Be sure to have all contact information, medical info, and passport on hand. After registering online, you'll receive a confirmation packet by mail containing instructions on submitting payment and other information.

Step 2- Payment: deposit and balance
A deposit of $200 is due to Sol Encounter 14 days after completing your online trip registration form. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your trip start date. After registering online, you'll receive a confirmation packet by mail containing instructions on submitting payments by check, bank draft, or wire transfer. IMPORTANT- be sure to submit the deposit and balance due by the deadlines, or your trip registration will be cancelled!!


Step 3- Flight Information
You should book your flight to Costa Rica arriving to the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica (airport code SJO). If you've already made arrangements when you're ready to register (step 1 above) you can include them with your registration. If not, complete this form as soon as your flight reservations have been paid in order to notify Sol Encounter of your air travel plans and arrange airport transfers.

Custom Trips
Custom trips must be first arranged by contacting a Sol Encounter travel specialist at booking@solencounter.com. If you've already arranged your trip and are ready to register online, just click here or on the Register Now link under Step 1 above.
